3 - 5 years (pre-school class)

This is our pre-school class with a qualified early years teacher.  The children communicate in a very independent manner.  They want to share 'news' from hoe with their group and love role-play, music and drama.  They celebrate Harvest and Mother's Day etc.  These children can build amazing things using junk or construction toys.  Whilst every child is encouraged as an individual, this class will usually follow a theme bringing out early reading and numeric skills.

The home corner is rarely a hame corner - you are far more likely to see it masquerading as a dinosaurs den, a museum, a shop or a space station.  Our aim is to prepare these children for 'big' school in a fun stress-free environment.
